Reimagining the warehouse. Focused on integrating and complementing existing and new neighbors, we took four stories with penthouse living supported by a ground floor restaurant and created a community within a community.

Using wood frame over concrete podium, 650 Lamont is a re-imagination of the iconic brick turn of the century warehouse. The use of brick pilasters and patterning helped to set proportion and scale to a 50ft x 50x façade resulting in a building that would never be confused for a boring brick box. Warehouse-style windows with divided lites and a corbeled brick cornice are the small touches that give 650 Lamont a classic character that is sure to complement its existing and new neighbors on Georgia Avenue as the area continues to experience redevelopment.

Amenities: communal roof deck, private roof deck, retail space with 15 ft finish ceilings and segmented overhead glass doors that open onto a sidewalk patio
